The 3rd round of German Bundesliga doesn't bring us a real highlight, but nevertheless there are some very interesting games coming up. Karslruher SC vs. 1.FC Köln

KSC meeting Köln may not sound like being the big highlicht, but this one will be a very exciting match I think. Karslsruhe after losing some players in the summer break with 3 points on the 9th place currently ranked. More dissapointing is the performance of Christoph Daums FC Köln, which only managed to get a single point in the first two games. KSC is playing very strong at home, on the other hand Köln shouldn't lose otherwhise there will be already a big gap to the top teams. I think this game will be very tight and mainly dominated by tactics. That's why I think there will be only a few goals shot. My pick: under 2,5 goals.

Borussia Mönchengladbach vs. Werder Bremen

Both teams with a bad start concerning their ambitions and have to get 3 points now. Werder as being co-favorite for winning the league has to try to keep in touch with the top teams by taking away 3 points from Gladbach. Mönchengladbach is the only team without any point being on the bottom on the table. As both teams have to win, this will be a very interesting match I think where the better squad will take away the victory. My picks: away win Werder Bremen and over 2,5 goals

VfB Stuttgart vs. Hannover 96

Stuttgart seams to get stronger again now, and managed to win against Györ in the UEFA Cup during the week. Hannover with really dissapointing performance so far and only one point in the first two rounds. Also this time I think Stuttgart will simply be too strong for Hannover and I go for the home win here.

The 3rd round of german bundesliga starts with some interessting negotiation news. The three games I want to analyse to day is: Schalke 04 – Vfl Bochum, Bayer Leverkusen – Hoffenheim and last but not least Cottbus – Borussia.

Schalke 04 – VfL Bochum

They so called “Knappen” from Schalke suffered a loose in the championsleague qualification against Atletico Madrid with 4:0. So they question will be, how will Schalke cope with this situation. I am in the opinion Fred Rutten, the trainer of Schalke, will motivate his team perfectly and so they will win this game. Worth to say is that Bochum didn`t win in Schalke for 5 years. I suggest betting on a win of Schalke.

Bayer Leverkusen – 1899 Hoffenheim

These two teams never played against in the league. Leverkusen lost their first home game in this season against Dortmund with 2:3. Leverkusen played very well although they lost. The 2nd game against Stuttgart they won with 2:0 away and so they are in good conditions. Hoffenheim had two beatable opponents the first two rounds and so Leverkusen is the first strong team they have to play against. I suggest betting on a win of Leverkusen because if they show the same gameplay of the the last two rounds they are the better team.

Cottbus – Dortmund

The last game I want to analyse is Cottbus – Dortmund. Dortmund has two new players in their rows, Zidane and Lee. They also played 2 very good games in this starting period. The target of Cottbus is that they stay in the first league and so you can image Dortmund is the favourite in this game. I suggest betting on a win of Dortmund and on an over because of the offensive skills of Dortmund
